The Sandwich Police Department is a progressive community-oriented police department that provides both traditional and non-traditional police services to the residents and visitors of our community. 

The Sandwich Police Department promotes a philosophy that encourages the citizens of Sandwich to take an active role in establishing and promoting a safe community.

The Sandwich Police Department realizes that Sandwich being both in the Lakes Region and at the foothills of the White Mountains is both a popular vacation destination as well as a major through way to other attractions in the Granite State, thus we strive to be a visible and helpful presence to our residents and visitors.

The Sandwich Police Department also takes an active role promoting positive values with the young people of our community. The Sandwich Police Department, in cooperation with the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration, present the D.A.R.E program in our elementary school. The department is also active with the Boy Scouts and present other safety based programs to our young children on a regular basis.

A CHILD IS MISSING:
This is an alert system that is utilized in without the issuance of or in conjunction with an Amber or Silver Alert. That can be used to locate lost children or elderly persons. The alert system will give you vital information and numbers to call to assist us in locating the person we are looking for. The alert system works with both land-line and cell phones, however, cell phones need to registered separately.
